TRANSPOWER encompasses partners from West and East European countries. Historically the two “European continents” have applied completely different approaches as regards transportation: individual versus public. But at the same time both of them are faced by similar problems and challenges. TRANSPOWER will support them by establishing a Europe-wide network of cities and municipalities exploring new and promising approaches for sustainable urban transport and enabling exchange of experience and best practices.

Partners originate from old and new EU member states, as well as third countries, involving cities and municipalities, educational institutions, research centres as well as transport businesses.
